A long-time yoga distributor and wholesaler, Hugger Mugger wanted to "up the ante" and make a strong B2C play along with changing a whole series of back-office integrations. They were also looking carefully at new agencies that could translate their vision properly.
Hugger Mugger takes great pride in their made in USA products, heavy metal and phthalate-free mats, and sustainable, eco-friendly products including biodegradable TPE mats, natural rubber mats, cork and bamboo blocks, and more.
As Hugger Mugger made their foray into the business-to-consumer world, they leaned on Modelic to develop classic strategies for the interface. Creating the structures was a necessary first step before any design could be done.
Due to this B2B focus we were tasked with developing a custom set of business critical features that help drive those bulk buying decisions from the B2B crowd. Along with a new and faster way to shop we also cleaned up and automated the checkout funnel for logged in customers. Reducing the noise and amount of work their customers had to do was paramount for Hugger Mugger.
With Magento as a framework we gathered specific mobile requirements and then deployed Bootstrap as a solution for many of those requirements. Now customer could easily toggle between various devices during ordering.
Year after year, we continue to work with the Hugger Mugger folks and year after year they have grown and delivered best in online service for their yoga products.
